I did a little better at the meet, tying my season PR. I started out really well, but then starting feeling a little nauseous. So, I'm a little more confident now. I had a really good time at the meet though. It wasn't too long, and I cheered for a lot of people and held blocks, that sort of thing. So despite still being a little disappointed with my steeplechase time, it was a good day. But that is now on the backburner, as we don't have a meet until next weekend, and housing lottery has started.
Things would've been fine, if only we'd all gotten decent numbers. But Sean got a 256 and Margaret a 245...so we're pretty much screwed out of getting an apartment. We're trying every combination possible and have added Frank and in some cases Mark into the group. Frank is coming back for one term next year, and Mark got a good number for a junior. We're trying for houses on Monday, then apartments on Wednesday, and after that, our failsafe will be a townhouse, provided we can get enough people.
I'm not sure what I want...it would be nice to live with Mark, but then I REALLY want an apartment. But I guess I want anything that's not the quads, so I'll take what I can get. Everything depends on everything else, and all that can be done is to wait and see. Our best bet (best average, anyway) is a four-person house with me and Hannah and Margaret and Frank. Sean has the back-up plan of just living in the Fiji house, and Chris has some kind of a problem with living with me if Sean's not there too. Guess Sean's worth it. So anything that doesn't involve Sean can't involve Chris. Hmph. I can talk about this for hours, so I'm just going to stop.
