Well, to make a long story short, I did manage to break my two-year-old PR by almost three minutes: 4:14:20. So I didn't break four hours like I wanted, but I really can't be unhappy about a new PR and also about being back in the four hours range after last year. The course was absolutely gorgeous and the weather was perfect.
I'm working on the full report so I will post that soon. Thanks to everyone for your many good wishes and support--it means the world! I haven't even had a chance to read other reports from Bayshore marathoners, so I can't wait to do that.

Can never be dissatisfied with a PR! Great job! That was a fantastic course wasn't it? Keep running...another PR to follow I'm sure.
nice run, and a PR
Great weather...
looking at your race schedule, you should be ready to best 4 hrs in the Twin Cities
Congratulations!! I knew you would do great. Congrats on the PR! :) Can't wait to hear the report. Yay!
Awesome race! I am glad to hear that you broke your record and it was great running with you. Sorry that I continued on and left you after I picked up the pace a little. My body was accellerating on those down hills so I just went with it. Good luck in your future races!
You did great Miranda, congratulations!!!
