My reading nook

I've always wanted to have a special place to sit and read. This is kind of hard to accomplish in a one-bedroom apartment, but our current place has a little "den" just off the main room that I've always thought ideal. We used it as a place to stash our running stuff for a while, but it looked really cluttered, so we moved that to the bedroom. For most of this year, I've been working on transforming it into a dedicated reading nook. I finally "finished" it.

That looks like such a comfy, relaxing place to curl up and read a book...especially with the light coming through the blinds!

It looks really nice. I especially like that quilt you have folded up on the back of the chair! :-)

Sweet!!

We have a place like that, too...my wife and I are both avid readers.

Meant to tell you on your "favorite book" post that I'm re-reading the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy right now. Even better to go through it again ... catching a lot of details early that only come out in the end. Frodo and Gandalf teach us much!
